The aim of this congress is to provide a forum for the Iranian and international researchers in all disciplines of engineering from academia and industries to present their scientific findings and exchange their ideas of recent advances.

With respect to upgrading the scientific knowledge of the country in the field of energy, fuel and environment as well as publishing the latest research work of the industrial and university researches, The Material and Energy Research Center has intended to perform a congress in the field of  energy, fuel and environment in the MERC Hamayesh’s hall on 28 to 30 of  2008. Hence we call upon all industrial and university’s researchers, specialists and scientist to actively participate and present their latest industrial and scientific research and experience in related various fields of energy, fuel and environment. The aim of this congress is to prepare the basis for presentation of latest scientific, research and industrial achievements in production, findings, utilization and investigation of specification of energy, fuel and environment, to find out the scientific, research and industrial capability of the country and to improve the bound between universities, industries and research centers, investigate future horizon of energy, fuel and environment in the Islamic Republic of Iran and the word and to establish proper basis for performing common  seminars between industrial and scientific groups in the country. Active participation of all university scientists, students and researchers as well as industrial specialists and managers would cause a fruitful performance of this congress.

Scope and topics

The congress contains all related subjects to energy, fuel and environment. From the view point of the seminar performers, the below fields have the most priority.

All participants are invited to send their papers according to paper preparation instructions available in the conference site www.fnec.ir. The sent papers should contain new findings and result of original research work, advantageous to the country's scientific and industrial society and prior to this should have not been presented in other journal or other scientific conference. The actual acceptance of the papers necessitates receipt and acceptance of the paper by the jury. The accepted papers would be presented in a compact disc and a book.

Some of the accepted papers would be published in the engineering material journal. To acknowledge the hard work, prizes would be given to the active participants and excellent ranking papers.
